No. 1 – OGT Early Halloween Exclusive The Horde Maduro Robusto Grande Box Press 5.5×55

PAIRING HINT – Calumet 15yr Bourbon or Uncle Nearest Tennessee Whiskey

•Wrapper Maduro
•Binder Nicaragua
•Filler Nicaragua
•Undisclosed Blender from the ‘Shadow’ Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

“The Horde is a full-throttle, go for the throat maduro that is full in flavor, full in body, and medium-plus to full in strength. The Robusto Grande version is a slightly tweaked blend from the Belicoso. While I find the Torpedo well-rounded, I find the Robusto Grande a bit more aggressive. As soon as you light this cigar up, you are greeted with intense notes of pepper spice, earthy tones, cayenne, leather, a vegetal component, dark chocolate, savory burnt ends, and hints of sweetness. This cigar lets you know it’s there. It’s in your face, it’s clawing from the grave, it’s the Horde!”

No. 2 – Los Amigos Cigars The Sacred Blend Grand Robusto 5×56

•Wrapper Ecuadorian Habano
•Binder Besuki, East Java, Indonesia
•Filler Nicaragua
••Undisclosed Blender at the Domain Factory In Estelli, Nicaragua

“The newest brand at Oak Glen Tobacconist: Los Amigos Cigars! Los Amigos The Sacred Blend comes in one size: a 5×56 Grand Robusto. Known for its distinct Red band, the Sacred Blend cigar features a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic fillers. “A harmonious blend where Nicaraguan ligeros and viso from the rich volcanic soils of Ometepe create a smooth, meditative foundation of cedar, cream, and roasted almonds. The Besuki binder adds elegant structure and an effortless draw, guiding each third into quiet revelation.” It’s one of Los Amigos’ medium-plus strength blends with an intense profile of mineral-rich earth, warm spice, toast, volcanic minerality, honey, cedar, sweetness, and cream.”

No. 3 – Crowned Heads Le Imperiosa Magicos 4.5×52

PAIRING HINT – Talisker Blender’s Edition Or Some Sort Of Lightly Peated Scotch

•Wrapper Ecuadorian Habano Maduro
•Binder Nicaragua
•Filler Nicaragua
•Undisclosed Blender from My Father Cigar Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

“The Crowned Heads La Imperiosa is by far one of my favorite blends from Jon Huber. This blend used to be a Las Calaveras blend many years ago. While this size is a bit small, the flavor is out of this world! Crowned Heads La Imperiosa is a rich-tasting Ecuadorian Habano with superb Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The blend offers deep notes of pepper spice, complemented by subtle spices, nutmeg, oak, barrel spice, medium roast coffee, and accented sweetness. This blend was the original Las Calaveras 2014 and has now been resurrected!”

No. 4 – Stolen Throne Call To Arms Robusto 5×50

•Wrapper Sumatra
•Binder Nicaragua
•Filler Nicaragua
•Blender Lee Marsh at the Rojas Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

“Every time I go back and revisit this cigar, I am stunned. It’s such a fantastic blend that we had to share it in an OGT Variety Club. If you have never had this gem, you are in for a treat! If you have, but it has been a little while, even better! Stolen Throne Call to Arms was the second release Lee Marsh has ever put out, right after the Crook of the Crown. This is also a full-bodied and Medium-strength blend wrapped in a delicious Sumatra wrapper. This complex blend features heavy notes of red pepper, sweet cream, leather, and toasted almonds, paired with a super-clean, retro, long finish for a unique, memorable smoking experience.”

No. 5 – Lure Cigars Big Lou Corojo Toro 6×52

•Wrapper Nicaraguan Corojo
•Binder Nicaragua
•Filler Nicaragua
•Crafted at the Valacari Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

“Here is where it all started. This is the first cigar Lou Cross of Lure Cigars ever released! Lure Cigars are all crafted in Nicaragua. The Big Lou Corojo Oscuro by Lure Cigars is a bold, flavorful Nicaraguan puro wrapped in a dark reddish-brown Corojo Oscuro leaf that’s rustic, oily, and eye-catching. Built with an Estelí binder and a blend of Estelí, Ometepe, and Jalapa fillers, this cigar delivers medium-plus strength with plenty of depth. Expect notes of earth, cedar, red pepper, and a touch of natural sweetness on a smooth, lingering finish.”
