The idea behind HDA Cigars grew out of the bond that Zack and Andray formed during their time in the military. After their service, they set out to create a cigar brand that reflected the same loyalty, strength, and camaraderie they experienced while serving together. Partnering with master blender James Brown at Oveja Negra, they developed a lineup of cigars that stay true to their roots while showcasing premium tobacco and bold blending. Each cigar reflects their mission to create powerful, flavorful smokes while honoring the brotherhood that inspired the brand.

Every HDA Cigar features a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers, but each blend offers its own personality. Descending Shadows uses an Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper that brings dark spice and bold flavor to the profile. Cataclysm features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that combines earthy richness with pepper and intensity from tobaccos grown in regions like Ometepe and Condega. Meanwhile, HDA Veiled Mutiny uses an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper that delivers deeper notes of espresso, chocolate, cedar, and spice. The result is a lineup that leans toward the fuller side of the spectrum while maintaining balance and complexity.
