Lure Cigars Drops Lure Codfather Limited Edition

Lure Cigars recreates their ‘one that got away’ cigar, the Lure Codfather Limited Edition! Creamy, elegant, and balanced enough to savor slowly. Lure Codfather Limited Edition is a delicate Connecticut shade release capped at just 4,000 cigars, and it just dropped at OGT Cigars!

Lure Cigars is handing The Codfather to a select group of retail partners, and it comes in one size only, a 6.5 x 54 sublime. It’s wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf over a Nicaraguan binder, with aged Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos in the filler. The Lure Codfather Cigar is mild to medium bodied, which sets it apart from the bolder blends a lot of collectors chase, and since it’s allocated, only a handful of shops will carry it. At 4,000 cigars total, this is a true limited edition from Lure Cigars.

As Lou Cross of Lure Cigars says, “I have shared the story of how Lure Cigars came about and how this blend was instrumental in moving forward with creating a new brand of cigars nearly three years ago. After the overwhelming positive response from people who enjoyed the cigars given out at the celebration of my dad’s life, I set out to bring cigars that reminded me of sharing time with friends and family when smoking cigars and fishing. I like to say Lure Cigars brings the ‘Tackle & Tobacco,’ and it is the basis for our company slogan, ‘Smoke Great Cigars & Tell Tall Tales!’”

The flavor here is all about finesse. The Codfather is a mild-to-medium-bodied cigar that opens with rich notes of heavy cream and cedar wood, followed by the delicate nuttiness of pine nuts and a touch of vanilla. A subtle hint of white pepper adds a gentle lift to the finish, bringing balance to an elegant blend designed to be savored slowly.

Don’t lose the ‘hook’ on this very special, elegant, flavor-forward masterpiece released in a VERY limited catch! The Lure Codfather Limited Edition is a very small releaseso don’t be caught unaware! I’m happy to announce Oak Glen Tobacconist is one of the select retailers carrying this allocated release. Keep an eye on the site and grab yours before this limited run is gone.
