Dissident Heretic Is Being Sent To The OGT Cigar Society

I am so excited for this month’s OGT Cigar Society drop! As some know, each month we send out a 5 pack of an exclusive blend or size, sometimes even a limited cigar that is extra special. We smoke it all together on the Oak Glen Tobacconist youtube channel every first Wednesday of the month, at 6pm pst/9pm est. This month’s drop is incredible. Last year we sent out the Dissident Home 2023 made at the Oveja Negra Factory in Nicaragua. The Home was so popular it was voted into our top ten list of 2023. This year, we are following up the cigar’s success with something even more limited than the last, and possibly even richer in flavor. Introducing the Dissident Heretic 6.5×46 Corona Larga Box Press.

This dark barber pole demonstrates the craftsmanship, artistic quality, and incredible flavor both Dissident Cigars and Oveja Negra Factory are capable of. The blend uses a dark Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper coupled with a Rohiso leaf, similar to the event only Black Works Studio NBK Lizard King. Underneath is an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Strength wise, it’s a solid medium plus with deep notes of rich leather, earthiness, cream, nuts, dark roast coffee, light pepper, and chocolate. What makes this so limited? Good question, I’ll let owner and blender Cynn Coburn tell you.

In essence, the Dissident Heretic is an event only cigar and only found in the Midwest. To obtain this blend, you would have to visit a Cigar shop in one of the midwest states that carries Dissident Cigars, attend an event and gain access.
