Black Label Trading Porcelain No. 5 in OGT Top 5 of 2021

Each year the community here at Oak Glen Tobacconist vote on the cigars they think were the best to come through the OGT humidor. This list is made by cigar consumers for cigar consumers. There was no paid promotion in the evolution of this list.

Black label Trading has made an impression here at Oak Glen Tobacconist in a huge way, and it’s not a wonder to see them on this list. What perhaps might be surprising is the particular blend on the list? BLT is known for the richness of flavor and strength, and usually, the cigars of note are the heavy maduros, but this is not the case for OGT Cigar #5 of 2021. This year our number 5 slot was taken by the one and only Connecticut BLT produces named ‘Porcelain.’

However, I have said many times that in the realm of Connecticut Shades the Porcelain is a tough cigar to beat. The cigar, while small in size, a corona at 5.5 x 48, is not small in smoking performance by any means. Its strength is mild, maybe trying to edge toward medium. A burst of flavor strikes you right at light up, causing instant flavor. Porcelain offers deep notes of earth and wood. This segues into sweet toasted almonds and a light creaminess. All of which blend perfectly together as to smoke into the second and final thirds.

The Porcelain cigar was created originally as a limited release by BLT, but after popularity was on the rise, James Brown decided to make it a core line. As for me, as well as many here at OGT apparently, are very grateful. If you haven’t tried this spectacular cigar, do yourself a favor and pick up a five-pack. Trust me, it has something for everyone.
