Cordoba And Morales Kronos Brazilian Mata Fina Maduro

Cordoba and Morales Kronos

When it comes to favorite Maduro wrappers, one of my top picks is a dark Brazilian Mata Fina. From the powerful spiciness to the complex sweetness, earth, and leather, Brazilian Mata Fina Maduro is incredible. One of my favorite examples is the Cordoba and Morales Kronos Robusto Extra. We first featured this cigar last year in the OGT Variety Club. Blender of Cordoba and Morales Cigars, Azarias Mustafa, also known as “Z”, is also the blender for Chaffiot Cigar Collection!

The name comes from Greek mythology. Kronos was the mighty King of the Titans and the god of agriculture and the harvest, and this cigar carries that same sense of power, tradition, and respect for the craft. Cordoba and Morales Cigars wrapped it in a dark, textured Brazilian Mata Fina Maduro, added a Nicaraguan Habano binder from Jalapa, and filled it with tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa, and Condega. It’s a 5.5 x 54 Robusto Extra that showcases the fantastic combination of Nicaraguan and Brazilian Tobacco. Cordoba and Morales are known for precision and artistry, and the Kronos Cigar is a great example.

As Owner and blender Azarias Mustafa says, “The 5.5×54 Robusto Extra size has been a favorite of mine, from light up to duration, I believe it brings forward what the blend is intended to do.” It’s full-bodied and layered, opening with black pepper and mesquite wood before espresso and dark chocolate act as the backdrop. Further notes of ginger snap, savory BBQ, and a touch of sweetness come forward. Overall, Corodoba and Morles Kronos is a complex and full-flavored masterpiece.

If you’re looking for a boutique cigar brand that is one of those ‘best brands you haven’t tried yet’, Cordoba and Morales Kronos is a must in your humidor! It’s available now at Oak Glen Tobacconist in limited quantities, so head over to the site and add this Titan to your humidor before it’s gone. Look for it at OGT Cigars!
