Los Amigos Cigars Arrives at OGT Cigars

The newest brand to be released at Oak Glen Tobacconist is Los Amigos Cigars! We are so excited for this new, up-and-coming boutique cigar brand! Los Amigos Cigars is a new company formed by three gentlemen: Walter Saes, Eduardo Lahsen, and Pedro Ramos. All of Los Amigos cigars are made at the Domain Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Knowing how much we are fans of Domain Cigars, we are very excited for Los Amigos Cigars! Consisting of four different blends, Los Amigos is ‘fresh off the boat’ in terms of being released to the American market. Let’s talk about the brands. The first is the white-banded Robusto. The Los Amigos Epiphany is produced in one size: a 5×50 Robusto. Known for its distinct white band, the Epiphany cigar features a gorgeous Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a blend of Indonesian and Nicaraguan binders, with filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Its approachable medium-bodied profile develops spice, espresso, cedar, cocoa, dried fruit, leather, pepper, and cream.

The second is the red-banded Grand Robusto. Los Amigos The Sacred Blend comes in one size: a 5×56 Grand Robusto. Known for its distinct Red band, the Sacred Blend cigar features a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic fillers. It’s one of Los Amigos’ medium-plus strength blends with an intense profile of mineral-rich earth, warm spice, toast, volcanic minerality, honey, cedar, sweetness, and cream.

Next is a short, stout green banded Los Amigos Legacy Of The Leaf comes in one size: a 4.5×60 Short Gordo. Known for its distinct green band, the Legacy of The Leaf cigar features a textured Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan fillers. It’s one of Los Amigos’ medium-plus strength blends with an intense profile of black pepper, earth, raw pepper, worn leather, bittersweet chocolate, roasted espresso, and lingering spice.

And finally is the black banded Toro, perhaps the strongest of the four. Los Amigos Hedonism comes in one size: a 6×50 Toro. Known for its distinct black band, the Hedonism cigar features a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan binders and fillers. Its one of Los Amigos’ stronger blends with a deep profile of black pepper, molasses, dried fruit, espresso, dark cocoa, oak, and spice.
