Introducing the newest release from HVC Cuigars, the HVC La Decoración. From the beautifully designed packaging to the rich Cuban-inspired character of the blend, everything about this release is so heavily inundated in the HVC way of cigars! Created by HVC Cigars as a tribute to old Havana cigar culture, the La Decoración Cigar delivers a smooth, balanced smoking experience with plenty of flavor and personality.
The HVC La Decoración brings back an old Cuban brand name to honor Havana’s deep cigar history. Founder Reinier Lorenzo created the blend to reflect the traditions and craftsmanship that inspired him from the beginning. As Lorenzo stated in a press release, “We will never forget where we come from, and La Decoración is the perfect example of our continued love for what we do.”
Wrapped in an Ecuadorian 2000 wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa, the HVC La Decoración delivers a medium-bodied profile that stays smooth and flavorful throughout the smoke. However, sampling this cigar myself, I feel like it has more power and body than talked about in the press releases! Right from the start, you’ll pick up notes of black pepper, cedar, earth, and cocoa powder, followed by a subtle sweetness that keeps everything balanced. As it develops, hints of cream, toasted nuts, and light spice begin to settle in, giving the cigar a refined complexity that never feels overpowering. The box-pressed construction also helps create a slow, even burn with an easy draw.
The HVC La Decoración is available in several box-pressed sizes, including Robusto and Toro, at Oak Glen Tobacconist. This new creation from HVC Cigars is by far one of Lorenzo’s most elevated blends.
