Black Label Trading Company Macabre Limited Edition

The ‘quintessential’ Black Label Trading Company cigar! That’s what James Brown of Black Label Trading Company and Black Works Studio Cigars says about his newest limited release! Each year, Oveja Negra Factory turns out something very limited and exciting for the PCA Tradeshow, and this year is no exception! Introducing the Black Label Trading Company Macabre. James calls it the quintessential BLTC stick because of its composition and flavor profile! Released in three sizes and limited to a select number of retailers, the Black Label trading Macabre is not only stunning in appearance but also in profile!

This was the first cigar I smoked at the Tradeshow. I was on a mission: get to the booth, secure it for our community, and light it up on the show floor. I was not disappointed. It has a full-flavored balance to the profile, with deep notes and the robusto body you would expect from Black Label’s Cigars. As James Brown says, “Macabre is quintessential Black Label – rich, dark, and elegant with a perfect balance of strength and flavor. The earthy, floral notes on the palate combine perfectly with the bold, intense spice on the retrohale to create a beautiful balance and unique smoking experience.”

As I mentioned, Black Label Trading Company Macabre is released in three sizes; a 5.5×46 Corona Gorda, 5×50 Robusto, and 6×50 Toro. They are packaged in beautiful 20-count boxes. The label is a stunning depiction of a sheep’s skeleton, a nod to the Oveja Negra logo. The blend is a multi-country one, with a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian Binder, and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigar debuted at this year’s PCA Trade Show in New Orleans. Macabre is handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua.
