This is one of the most unique dessert-style cigars released by Ezra Zion Cigars and Nomad Cigars. This cigar was blended to recreate the flavors of a classic root beer float, combining sweetness, spice, creaminess, and rich aged tobacco into one very different smoking experience. Using vintage tobaccos and a 12-year-aged Connecticut wrapper, the cigar delivers a full-bodied smoke with medium strength and a flavor profile that really stands out from more traditional cigars.

The Root Beer Float blend has been released in different versions over the years, but each release takes time because the right-aged tobaccos have to be sourced to recreate the flavor profile. The Double Cream version was created to push the creamy vanilla and dessert flavors even further while still keeping the spice and molasses notes that give the cigar its root beer character. The blend leans toward a more retro, Cubanesque style, using aged tobaccos and traditional blending techniques to create something that feels both classic and unique.

When it comes to flavor, Ezra Zion says the cigar starts off with creamy vanilla, brown sugar, leather, clove, and maple sweetness with a little white pepper and cinnamon on the retrohale. As the cigar progresses, flavors of cake frosting, milk chocolate, bourbon barrel, raw sugar, nuts, and baking spices begin to develop. Around the halfway point, the cigar becomes richer with notes of honey, cocoa, heavy cream, molasses, and a stronger pepper note. In the final third, the cigar smooths out with flavors of licorice, caramel, buttercream, nutmeg, and candied almonds, finishing rich, smooth, and very complex.
