Warped Cigar has just dropped their newest rendition of their ever-popular Cocodrilo cigar, called the Warped Isla del Cocodrilo Blanco Perfecto. This is a smoother, more polished version of one of Warped’s most talked-about blends. This 6.5 × 55 perfecto cigar maintains the depth Warped Cigars fans expect while delivering balance and elegance. If you want a cigar that has great refinement, intense flavors, and a wonderfully tapered shape that improves the smoking experience, the Blanco Perfecto is the answer.
The original Isla del Cocodrilo was a box set release at the 2024 PCA Trade Show and wowed people with its strong profile and its shape resembling the crocodile-shape of Cuba. The Blanco sticks to the same internal blend but changes the wrapper to an Ecuadorian Connecticut, which gives the cigar a lighter, smoother character. It is made at Tabacalera La iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the same factory that was responsible for the first edition. The end product is a cigar that relives the Isla del Cocodrilo line to its core while bringing a new, fresh, and smoother style.
Wrapped with an Ecuadorian Connecticut, desflorado leaf, the cigar is smooth in profile but very rich, full flavor. The dual binder underneath—Brazilian Arapiraca together with Ecuadorian Habano 2000—offers solidity and a tiny bit of spiciness, whereas the Nicaraguan fillers ensure profundity and the right balance. At the start, you can expect the flavors of cedar that has been toasted, baking spice that is light, and nuts that have been roasted. Then, as it progresses, flavors of white pepper, mild cocoa, and soft earthiness will come out. The closure is unnoticeably good, easy, and medium in strength, which makes it a simple cigar to smoke anywhere and at any time.
The Warped Isla del Cocodrilo Blanco Perfecto is available in 15-count boxes. Since only 1,500 boxes have been crafted, this limited edition is a rare but exciting find.
