A Look Back Through the OGT Cigar Society Drops For 2025 – A Full List Of Each Month’s Drop.

On the eve of putting in votes for the OGT Cigar of the Year, I wanted to publish a complete list of OGT Cigar Society drops through the year 2025. It has been our most Ambitious year to date, and this is a list I am very proud of. We have seen Banger after Banger from one month to the next; it will make voting this year very difficult. For a cigar to be voted on in your top 3 picks, it doesn’t have to be a Society drop; it must at least be a cigar purchased from the OGT Cigars humidor at some time during 2025. That said, it’s also easy for earlier releases to be buried under the new and shiny ones! Either way, here is OGT Cigar Society 2025, enjoy! January 22nd Release – Year Of The Nope Rope Habano Lancero 7×42. Maker Undisclosed.

*Note: “The first time we released a custom Lancero blend since 2021. Medium strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

February 22nd Release – Elusive Robusto Extra Box Press 5.5×56. Maker Undisclosed

*Note: “The first time we have ever used a Brazilian Corojo leaf on a cigar. Medium Plus Strength, Body, and Flavor.”

March 22nd Release – Blind Bunny Assorted Blind Tasting Pack 2025

*Note: “Unfortunately, this might have been the last year Blind Bunny Project makes an appearance in the OGT Cigar Society. However, there may be hope of seeing it later on down the road.”

April 22nd Release – Decō/Dence Torpedo Mexican San Andres Maduro 6×52. Maker Aganorsa Leaf

*Note: “Our first Maduro released from Aganorsa, and one of the few Torpedos in the Society. This is definitely one of my personal favorites. Medium strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

May 22nd Release – Aladino Exclusivo Sumatra Maduro Toro 6×52. Maker Aladino Cigars.

*Note: “Our First Aladino Cigars exclusive. The Honduran blend mixed with the Sumatra worked pretty darn well. Medium Plus strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

June 22nd Release – HDA Cigars Phantom Fury Limited Edition Sumatra Robusto 5×48. Maker Oveja Negra Factory.

July 22nd Release – Year Of The Nope Rope Maduro Lancero 7×42. Maker Undisclosed.

*Note: “This one is perhaps my favorite out of the series, but honestly, they are all bangers. I am very happy to see a Lancero get such notoriety. Medium strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

August 22nd Release – Black Label Trading Company Triforium Toro Box Press 6×50. Maker Oveja Negra Factory

*Note: “Our first custom blend from Black Label. Is this my #1 pick of the year? It definitely might be! It’s everything we were hoping for in a custom project with BLTC. We will see! Medium plus strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

September 22nd Release – Paul Stulac Heavy Hitter Skinny Toro 6×47. Maker Paul Stulac.

*Note: “This is not our first project with Paul Stulac, and most certainly not our last. This might, however, be one of our strongest releases from him! Full strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

October 22nd Release – Renfield Remastered Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro Figurado 6×54. Maker Undisclosed.

*Note: “The second rendition of the Renfield Connecticut Broadleaf. This is another one, where I have to ask myself, is this my favorite? It’s going to be tough! Medium plus strength, medium plus body, full flavor, custom project.”

November 22nd Release – Cigar Clowns Festivus 2025 Limited Edition Colorado Red Toro 6×54. Maker Undisclosed.
