This small-batch project made at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua, has been a fan favorite ever since its debut in 2015. Nocturne, in only its third release, is back with the dark, bold, and brooding character that fans of Black Label relish, accompanied by the brand’s usual impeccable detail and craft.

This year’s release has something different. The Nocturne line was traditionally offered in a few sizes, so the producer, James Brown, saw fit to add more, resulting in four different iterations! Black Label Deliverance Nocturne is available in a Toro, Robusto, and, in very limited quantities, a Short Salomon “Snub Nose” and Perfecto for those who exclusively love the originals. The blend is consistent with the “less is more” philosophy of Black Label Trading Co., which is production focused on small-batch, quality, and smokers getting new ways to explore the profile.

At the core of Nocturne is a beautiful Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan Habano binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania fillers. So, it’s a deep, rich flavor profile with earth, cocoa, dark fruit, black pepper, and the natural sweetness of Broadleaf that carries on into the smoke. The addition of Pennsylvania ligero to the blend gives it more strength and texture; hence, you get a slow-burning, full-bodied experience that is bold yet balanced.
