Cavalier Cigars Project Broadleaf Cowrider Toro Extra 6.5×50

The final installment of Cavalier Cigars’ most popular limited edition series, the Cavalier Project Broadleaf, has landed! These have truly been exceptional blends from the brand and have contributed to the company having such a killer year! There have been three other versions in this series – the Cavalier Project Broadleaf Skywalker, Cavalier Project Broadleaf Boretamer, Cavalier Project Broadleaf Wayfinders, and now, introducing the last one, Cavalier Project Broadleaf Cowrider! This new blend, like two others, is packaged in beautiful bundles of ten and rolled in a 6.5×50 toro extra vitola.

Each cigar brings something different ot the table. The last ones, the Wayfinders, were a bit punchier with a sweeter finish. The new Cavalier Project Broadleaf Cowrider offers something else. According to Sébastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Genève, he says, “This last release of the Project Broadleaf series for 2025 was inspired by my country of origin, Switzerland. As with all other Project Broadleaf releases, the cigars are unique, blend-wise, but also from an artwork perspective. This really has been a blast, a great and interesting process for us at Cavalier that we have loved sharing with the public for the first time this year.”

Cavalier Cowrider is blended in one size, a 6.5×50 Toro extra, and released in ten-count bundles. The blend is unique, with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Connecticut Shade binder and fillers from Indonesia, Honduras, and Nicaragua. I have always enjoyed this concept from Cavalier, which highlights a specific type of tobacco, and Connecticut Broadleaf is one of my favorites. I am sad that this will be the last, based on how good the others have been! It has been a fantastic run, and this newest version is the perfect cap for the project!
