Paul Stulac White Blinding Light Broadleaf Toro

One of the staples in the Paul Stulac Cigars portfolio is the striking White Blinding Light Habano Maduro. Anyone who has smoked Paul Stulac Cigars knows that his blending style shines with Nicaraguan and Habano Maduro tobacco. In fact, when we collaborated on a custom project with Paul this year, I had told him that he does fantastic things with Habano Maduro, and that was the hope for this project. We launched it through the OGT Cigar Society Cigar of the Month Club, and it was called the Heavy Hitter. From the beginning, we have been blessed with creating two other custom blends, the White Label Broadleaf and the Stulac Project. All three cigars were based on the foundations that Stulac had created with his core line, White Blinding Light is one of them!

The Stulac White Blinding Light features a dark Habano Maduro wrapper, a Nicaraguan Criollo 98 binder, and fillers from Nicaragua, including a double ligero. White Blinding Light is an incredibly balanced cigar, from its full flavor to its medium-plus strength. Presented in three sizes, a robusto, toro, and torpedo, I feel the Toro and Torpedo shine the best. There is a complexity, maybe even a maturity, in those sizes that really impresses me.

From the outset, the Stulac White Blinding light offers a series of notes, including pepper spice, a musty, earthy tone, dark earth, and smooth sweetness. Several notes appear through the transitions, additional notes of savoriness, dried fruits, roasted nuts, raisins, and baking spices. While Paul Stulac Cigars are known for being full and strong, I would say the White Blinding Light has a smoother balance. The Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper looks incredibly inviting; it’s textured, dark, and suggests the rich, full flavor that it delivers.
