Crowned Heads Belgian Blue 2025 Limited Edition 5.5×56 Box Press Just Dropped!

Back by popular demand, the limited-edition Crowned Heads Belgian Blue 2025 returns in a whole new vitola! It took only a short time, as it was originally introduced in 2024, for Belgian Blue to become one of CH’s biggest hits! Thanks to its massive aroma and relatively strong, refined nature, Crowned Heads Belgian Blue 2025 is now available in a new 5.5 x 56 box-pressed vitola, designed to convey the same luxurious balance of richness, power, and smoothness as before, reintroducing it to the faithful of Crowned Heads.

The origin of the name Belgian Blue goes back to the spectacular energy-generating machine “Belgian” of the world, which is exactly what the “double-muscling” is. This is precisely the same tonality of harmony that characterizes this blend. As co-founder of Crowned Heads Cigars, Jon Huber says, “The reaction to that cigar surpassed even our expectations, as we were receiving many requests asking for us to produce more, bring it back, or even make it a regular production line. So, far be it from us not to listen to our customers. What is unique about the actual blend is that it is comprised of 75% ligero with a textured base, meaning that the base leaves selected have more thickness and texture, resulting in more strength but not at the sacrifice of excellent combustion. Many new era cigars are intentionally blended for strength, but Belgian Blue was blended to be full in flavor first, and the resulting intensity and strength became a by-product of the blend; the profile is strong and smooth at the same time.”

The Belgian Blue Cigar shares the same roots as Crowned Heads’ other heritage lines, such as the Mil Días, Juárez, and Blood Medicine. Like these, Belgian Blue is also made in the D’Hatuey factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, under the supervision of Don Eradio Pichardo.

The Belgian Blue 2025 starts off with a full-bodied, complex, and layered experience. The dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper offers a complementary journey with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and black pepper. This is followed with rich oak, sweet spice, and a delicate vanilla finish. The cigar’s strength is not that of a violent one; instead, it increases gradually, thus providing the users with depth and harmony.

The limited-edition Crowned Heads Belgian Blue 2025 is definitely one not to miss. The total production for the Belgian Blue Cigar is only 2,500 boxes! We are happy to have it back at OGT Cigars! It was a huge hit last year and not to be missed!
