Let me introduce you to the newest limited run, the Crowned Heads Mil Días Des Deux LE 2025 “Long Corona.” This release marks the reunion of the original Mil Días family, the Habano, and the Maduro, in the new refined size of 6 1/8 x 42 Long Corona. The production is limited to only 1,500 boxes of 12, which makes this launch not only a rare piece but also an authentic collector’s item for fans of Crowned Heads.

The concept of Mil Días Des Deux has been around for more than ten years. The idea was formed in the head of Jon Huber, the owner of Crowned Heads Cigars, as he says, “The origin of this project probably goes back 10-plus years. Back then, a friend introduced me to a cigar from the Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey portfolio called, Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo Des Dieux (Spanish translation: “of the gods”). That cigar was discontinued in 2014. I remember that I ended up asking My Father Cigars to make me two bundles of our 2015 Las Calaveras blend in that exact size, and I gifted him a bundle and kept one for myself. I fondly remember how great that cigar smoked and how much I loved that size. Ever since then, l’ve had that cigar in the back of my mind and was always looking for the right opportunity to put the Crowned Heads spin on that vitola.”

The end product is something magnificent. The Habano peaks with the taste of the toasted nuts, cedar, and baking spices, whereas the Maduro is filled with dark chocolate, espresso, and a bit of mellowing sweetness.
