Wrapped in a dark, oily San Andrés Maduro that’s been aged for 12 years, Kashmir Khocolate Dark makes an immediate statement. The blend inside is hush-hush—Ezra Zion is known for keeping things close to the chest—but what we do know is all of it has been aged between 7 and 13 years. It’s a 6×52 belicoso that seriously impressed our tasting panel. We even put it up against some of those ultra-premium $50+ “white-banded” cigars—and, no joke, this one came out on top.

From the first light, you’re hit with deep notes of extra-dark chocolate, brown sugar, caramel, cinnamon, and a rush of pepper. Then things open up with waves of vanilla frosting, heavy cream, and hints of bourbon barrel. As it develops, flavors like espresso, maple, and clove come into play, before finishing off with a creamy vanilla bean sweetness that hangs on long after the smoke fades. It’s full-bodied, complex, and just plain luxurious.
