Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Connecticut

Sweet. Creamy. Silky. Smooth. These are some of the words that come to mind when I think of Aganorsa Leaf’s newest cigar on the market, the Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Connecticut. This is the ‘cream’ of the crop. Freshly arrived, the new cigar is one of those perfect ‘start your day off’ kinds of sticks but with a sophisticated and balanced blend. The Aniversario was released at the 2023 PCA Trade Show. I stopped by the booth, unwittingly telling the team that I would circle back and order later. Lighting up the Connecticut Toro, I ordered the cigar before I was halfway through. The Aniversario line is offered in a complete trilogy, consisting of a Corojo, Maduro, and now the Shade Grown version. The whole line is meant to demonstrate the very last word on Aganorsa’s flavor dynamic and opulent experience.

The new blend consists of a gorgeous Connecticut wrapper grown under the natural cloud coverage of Ecuador. Underneath is a Binder and Filler from both Jalapa and Estelí. The flavor combination creates a mild-strength cigar with a medium-plus body and full flavor. Notes of roasted cashews, vanilla, cedar, and light, white pepper transition within a sweet, creamy experience. This cigar is in one of my top votes for pairing with a cup of coffee. I highly recommend trying the combo when your palate is fresh so you can transcend your smoking experience.
