Rojas Breakfast Tacos by Rojas Cigars

Noel Rojas, King of the Small Guage, is back with a new release for his portfolio. Known for his success with the Rojas Street Taco Barbacoa and Rojas Street Taco Carnitas, Rojas has expanded the line. Released during the TPE 2023 trade show, Noel rolled out his Breakfast Taco Trio – a 4.5×46 Petite Salamon line featuring three different blends. I have seen various ‘quick smoke’, or as some would say 30 minute smoke vitolas come to the market, but the King of the Small Guage might get might vote for the favorite.

The original Rojas Street Tacos feature two wrappers; a dark Sumatra and Connecticut wrapper. Expanding on this, the Rojas Breakfast Tacos also features a Connecticut, a Sumatra, and the newest one, Maduro, with binders and fillers from Nicaragua. His intention with a Petite Salamon is to offer the signature flavor of his premium line but rolled in an accessible timeline. So many times, I have experienced wanting a cigar but not having an hour to enjoy one. The Rojas Street Taco is the perfect answer to that!

In terms of the blends and what you can expect: the Connecticut is, of course, going to be the mildest, with similar notes to its larger, original counterpart – Savoriness, sweet, smooth and creamy. The Sumatra has a bit of spice up front, cardamom, earth, and sweetness. The Maduro, about the same in strength as the Sumatra with baking spice, cocoa, leather, and a faint hint of coffee. All of which are beautifully unique and a perfect 30-minute smoke.
