LCA Corporal Napoleon Cigar by Privada Cigar Club

LCA Drop is happening this Thursday at 9pm CA time/12am est!

What is it? Good question. I anticipate this drop to be closer to my palate than most of the releases through the year. Something I love about the limited sticks dropped by the LCA and Privada Cigar Club, they are often different than what I might gravitate toward. It helps me smoke outside of the box of what I might normally. And every once in a while, there will be a particular cigar that is in that sweet spot of medium plus Maduro. But this is not just any Maduro; it’s, wait for it… a San Andres leaf from Mexico. Introducing the LCA Corporal Napoleon Maduro. The following is a speech/press release from the Privada team.

“Napoleon was a master strategist and expert in the art of war. France’s domination of continental
Europe during the Napoleonic Wars of the early 19th century cemented Napoleon as an iconic
figure in history. In 1807, Napoleon invaded and occupied Portugal and Spain, beginning the
conflict known as The Peninsula War. In the years that French troops were stationed in Spain,
they picked up the habit of cigar smoking and brought it back to France. It was not long before
cigar smoking had surged in popularity all across Europe. In this sense, Napoleon and his
attempted conquest of the Iberian Peninsula are to thank for the spread of cigar smoking across
the world. This blend features a Mexican Stalk-Cut San Andres wrapper, a Nicaraguan Corojo
Viso binder, and fillers of Dominican San Vicente Ligero, Nicaraguan Condega Corojo,
Nicaraguan Jalapa, and Costa Rican Habano Viso. The 6×52 toro was rolled at Tabacalera Las
Villas in Nicaragua. Expect tasting notes of dried fruits, black pepper, cream, chocolate and
molasses.”

BANGER! As far as my understanding goes, the LCA Corporal Napoleon Maduro is rolled in the same factory as Paul Stulac and Stallone Cigars. I am definitely looking forward to this cigar. No doubt you will be seeing an official OGT review video on our YouTube channel. Get ready, everyone; it is heavy-hitting, San Andres time. Don’t miss the official drop Thursday 9p CA time/12am est.
