Filthy Viking Cigar by American Viking Cigars

Tim Swanson is perhaps best known for his online retail business, Cigars Daily. He is a prolific content creator, educating cigar consumers across the nation with quality videos and insightful tips. Aside from being the guy most new cigar consumers might say, “Got them into cigar smoking,” he is also the owner of a fantastic brand called American Viking Cigars. AVC focuses on the expertly blended sticks ranging in the mild to medium with a few exceptions. Swanson’s ‘baby’, as he calls it, is the American Viking Filthy Viking.

At first glance, the Filthy Viking cigar appears to be a Connecticut-wrapped cigar. However, the luscious golden leaf covering the Filthy Viking is a Habano from Honduras, with the binder and fillers also from Honduras. The result is a creamy, graham cracker sweet cigar with hints of vanilla, almonds, and light earth. Earlier in 2020, Tim added to his Filthy Viking line with a limited 7×38 Lancero. Unlike the other sizes, the Lancero concentrated the wrapper taste and offered a few different notes that tended to lean stronger, showing a different side to the Filthy. The vitola was featured in the OGT Cigar Society and was given an overwhelmingly warm reception.
