LCA is raising the bar here in 2022! The newest release for February is the Cavalier Genève Oddjob! I have heard a lot about the cigar brand that rolls a twenty-four carrot cold leaf with the tobacco, but haven’t had much opportunity to try them. This makes me particularly excited to explore the brand, most especially being that has the Privada stamp of approval. But, down to brass tax: the cigar is a 6×52 toro featuring a Viso Jalapa Nicarguan wrapper, a habano Honduran binder, and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and Paraguay. The cigar is rolled at Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco SA. Brian Desind and Clark Thorton of Privada Cigar Club were quoted to state the following:
“The Cavalier Genève Oddjob draws its name from the film Goldfinger. Oddjob is a James Bond villain known for his iconic bowler hat with its sharpened steel rim. Naming the cigar after the villain of a film that has James Bond investigating gold smugglers is a reference to Cavalier’s signature gold foil found on all of their
cigars.”
LCA is always putting out amazing sticks, and this month doesn’t seem to be any different. The cigar drops this Thursday 9pm CA time / 12am est. They tend to go quick, so get ready everyone! It’s coming!
