Black Works Studio Intergalactic Cigar

The new new from Black Works Studio is the limited Intergalactic Cigar! Featuring a dark Sumatra wrapper, Ecuadorian habano binder, and Nicaraguan fillers, the Intergalactic is only released in two sizes – Robusto 5.5×50 and Corona Larga 6.25×46. Although Black Works Studio and Black Label put out limiteds each year, this is the first time we see this one hit the market. While the sizes are familiar to the brand, the use of Sumatra is not. In fact, this is the first time James Brown, owner and blender, has used a Sumatra leaf for his limited. James was quoted to say the following,

“I would consider it in a more traditional wheelhouse in terms of its overall profile with a definite Oveja Negra twist. The blend starts with bold spice followed by herbal and cedar notes. The finish is a balance of different layers. The spice and earthy notes of the Nicaragua filler tobaccos are gently brought together with the creamy, subtle sweetness of the dark Sumatra wrapper.”
