Stallone War Horse Nelson
Crowned Heads Las Calaveras Decimo

The Stallone Cigars have always been a favorite at Oak Glen Tobacconist for the dynamic flavor and innovation the cigars bring. Owner and Blender Tony Barrios always offers something elevated and impressive. His newest creation embodies that like no other. Believe me when I say this is one of the best Connecticut cigars I have smoked this year! Introducing the long-awaited Stallone War Horse Nelson! But this is not just any Connecticut cigar; it boasts a gorgeous Connecticut Desflorado wrapper. What is that? Let’s get into it!

Stallone War Horse Nelson follows the in the first War Horse series, the Bucephalus. This is the culmination of many years of working with dynamic tobaccos and pushing his talents to the limit. This amazing Limited Edition cigar celebrates Stallone Cigars’ many successful years and brings to life the power and complexity Tony puts into his blends. The story starts with the real horse this cigar is named after, Nelson.

The Horse was born on a Virginian plantation in 1768 and later gifted to General George Washington. Nelson had seen many battles and earned the legendary belief that this horse was bombproof. To pay homage to this historical creature, Tony blended the cigar to deliver massive flavor, complexity, and balance, while also capturing a measure of Virginia in the blend. The Stallone War Horse Nelson showcases a Desflorado Connecticut Shade wrapper over a double Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Virginia. Released in one size, a 6×54 Toro, only 3,000 cigars of the Stallone Nelson were made, making it one of the most limited blends from Tony! Only 5 retailers in America received the first allocation, and I am happy to say Oak Glen Tobacconist is one of them!

This cigar’s flavor is insane. The tasting notes on the War Horse Nelson Limited Edition start off with a bit of black pepper that transitions into a pleasant cinnamon spice. As it continues, you get notes of caramelized sugar, cream, ‘smokiness’, sandalwood, baking spices, a hint of cayenne, almond milk, custard, and a lingering sweetness that rounds out with a bold, deep leather. Don’t let that Connecticut Shade Desflorado fool you; this cigar is a powerful Medium to Medium-Plus strength.

The Stallone War Horse Nelson just dropped at OGT Cigars and is now shipping! Don’t miss this very limited blend! Snatch it up while it’s available and light up this impressive blend! Look for it at OGT Cigars.
