Stallone Cigars has been a household brand for a while now, and it’s often referred to as the brand that punches above its price point. Due to Owner and Blender Tony Barrios’ meticulous blending style, the brand has a wide range of incredible blends. One of the more impressive blends is the Stallone Cigars Zaino Broadleaf. The Stallone Zaino is a dark, rustic-looking Maduro cigar with a gallop of strength and flavor behind it. His Stallone Cowboy Series features three Maduros, a Habano, Corojo, and Connecticut. The Stallone Broadleaf is perhaps the strongest of them.
The Stallone Zaino Broadleaf features a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua. Like most blends by Tony, it has a decent amount of Ligero leaf in the filler, which gives it an added kick. According to Tony, he says the flavors from the cigar include, “black pepper spice, a hearty and meaty note, cocoa, dark cherries, and transitions both bold and complex.” Rolled at the Tabacalera Las Villas factory in Nicaragua, this Connecticut Broadleaf offers a different experience than most broadleaf wrapped cigars, having a bit more spice and leather to it.
Stallone Zaino is available in several sizes, but the most popular are: Stallone Zaino Broadleaf Robusto 5×50, Stallone Zaino Broadleaf Toro 6×52, and Stallone Zaino Broadleaf 6×60
Stallone Cigars launched the brand in 2014 and offers quality blends that rival cigars in a higher price bracket. The cowboy series, or what is considered his core line, is a great way to explore Nicaraguan tobacco set against a backdrop of various wrapper leaves. Stallone Zaino Broadleaf Toro was chosen to be put in our Craft Series Broadleaf pack due to it’s diversity and intense smoking experience. If you haven’t tried this special blend, light one up and see for yourself. It is rich, complex, and full throttle flavor.
