Viaje Birthday Blend 2024 Criollo 98 Collector’s Edition

This month’s drop from Viaje Cigars brings us PART 2 of the ever popular Viaje Birthday Blend. As the previous drop was, this follow up is a Collector’s Edition! This cigar has become infamous among Viaje Cigar heads. Part 2 has some slight tweaking to it. The Viaje Birthday Blend 2024 Criollo 98 is a Collector’s Edition, with a new size, a secondary band, and a more robust delivery. The Viaje Birthday Blend is an annual release to celebrate Andre Farkas’ birthday. Andre is the owner of Viaje Cigar company. This year’s ‘Collector’s Edition’ is a one and done version, so it’s one to try before it’s gone.

According to the press release, Viaje Cigars said, “Part one of our birthday celebration begins this month with the release of Birthday Blend. This isn’t any ordinary Birthday Blend, however. This year we celebrate with a very special, dressed up, Collector’s Edition. We have modified the blend and shape ever so slightly to give a special take on what has become an annual favorite. To complete the set, we offer Viaje Birthday Blend Collector’s Edition Part II. How is this one different? This version comes wrapped in a rich Criollo98 cover leaf. PARTY HATS ON!”

The Viaje Birthday Blend 2024 Criollo 98 Collector’s Edition comes in at a 6.25×52 Belicoso, a departure from the usual 6×52 toro. The new cigar also sports a new wrapper. Much of the blend is undisclosed beyond that, true to Viaje fashion. The cigar is being shipped in 25 count boxes. Don’t wait on these special cigars, it is a VERY limited drop.
