Originally released in the Habano and Maduro format, Knuckle Sandwich started gaining notoriety everywhere. Now, Espinosa has added to the line with a Connecticut shade. Erik’s strong suit has always been Habano wrappers, but what does that look like seen through the lens of Guy Fieri? The result: a beautifully crafted 6×54 Habano with transitions, complexity, and rich flavor – or in essence, it takes you to flavor town. However, finding them available proves challenging. They usually move quickly due to the high demand. While Knuckle Sandwich is not a limited line, it tends to take that form.

In terms of flavor, the Habano is a medium strength, edging to medium plus with an initial spice on light up. Notes of white pepper, caramel, toasted nuts, cedar, and creamy sweetness follow. This is a winner to pair with whiskey or even coffee. Perhaps try a pumpkin pie on the side? Bring out more pumpkin spice, sweetness, and pie crust from the cigar.
