At the beginning of the month, we shipped out our first batch of the OGT 12 days of Christmas Advent Sampler. Starting on the 13th of December, our community started smoking through the sampler pack. After missing a release date last year, Morphine was a much-anticipated drop from Black Label Trading Co. Morphine uses a dark San Andres Wrapper from Mexico, with binder and filler from Nicaragua. Presented in three different sizes; Robusto Torpedo box pressed, Corona, and Lancero, only 800 boxes were produced for each size. The Lancero is not your typical Lancero, as is the usual for BLTC. It boasts a bigger 42 ring on a 7.25 length. Each size has something unique to offer; however, I feel like the burst of flavor from this size is unparalleled. It’s like smoking dark chocolate with hints of oak and espresso, finished with a light savoriness.
