We’ve all heard the age-old adage ‘The best things come in threes.’ In that spirit, Aganorsa has created a spectacular trilogy of cigars in their Guardian of the Farm series. The latest of the three was released in February of this year. Aganorsa Leaf created the Cerberus; a very special interpretation of their signature Corojo tobacco. Sporting a label with a three-headed hound sprouting from flames, the name is derived from the mythical guardian of hades. In the original blends of Guardian of the Farm, the first uses a Corojo leaf as the wrapper and the Nightwatch a Corojo, shade-grown Maduro.
The Guardian of the Farm Cerberus is the first from Aganorsa Leaf to use the newly developed Corojo 2012 seed . However, that’s not the only special part of the blend. The Cerberus cigar also uses rare tobacco known as medio tiempo. Medio Tiempo tobacco is very small, rare leaves found on top of the tobacco plant. These are cherished tobacco leaves found where they receive the most sun.
Terence Reilly of Aganorsa Leaf has stated the following about Guardian of the Farm Cerberus: “We wanted to utilize it first on the Cerberus because Guardian of the Farm is the most popular with cigar enthusiasts who appreciate the nuances and characteristics of new tobaccos. We think they will be very pleased with the Cerberus.”
Aganorsa Leaf’s Guardian of the Farm trilogy is quite special, using an array of different tobaccos and is now complete with their newest release, the Guardian of the Farm Cerberus.
