Baka Perfecto from Roma Craft – a sweet Cameroon.

Roma Craft often releases LE sizes of their original blends, the Baka Perfecto is one of them. Baka, using Cameroon Tobacco, is often considered one of the more rare cigars in their portfolio. After a year of trying to add it to the humidor, it finally came about! OGT not only received the Baka Perfecto (5.625 x 60) but also Cromagnon and Aquitaine in the same size!

The only Baka I had encountered prior to the perfecto was of a thinner, smaller caliber, perhaps a petite corona? Needless to say, the composition of this 60 gauge was considerably different. And I am happy to say the flavor and richness of the Cameroon wrapper wasn’t drowned out by the amount of fillers! From start to finish, the limited Baka Perfecto smoked like a champ, bringing awesome flavors of earth, sweetness, cocoa, coffee, and slight nuttiness. The ash, snow-white, held through the second third. The burn was sharp, the draw effortless, and the smoke output perfect.
