The HDA Eleven Eleven Limited Edition is a Veterans Day tribute on November 11, hence the name HDA Eleven Eleven. HDA Cigars, short for Hermanos de Armas or “Brothers in Arms,” was founded by two veterans, U.S. Army veteran Andray McCuien and U.S. Air Force veteran Zack Van Ginkel, so this release means something to the people behind it. The HDA Eleven Eleven Limited Edition is a collaboration with Team SAPO, a veteran-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Tier One and Special Operations veterans and their spouses. A portion of every Eleven Eleven sold goes directly to Team SAPO.

HDA Cigars wraps this one in dark Connecticut Broadleaf over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler, all made in Nicaragua in a 6 x 52 toro. Expect a heavy-bodied smoke with chocolate, rich baking spices, and deep earthiness, along with the natural sweetness Broadleaf is known for. Bourbon, dark rum, or a cup of black coffee all pair well with it.

Only 450 boxes of 22 were made, for 9,900 cigars worldwide. The last HDA limited edition, the Sentinel, sold out quickly, and this run is even smaller. It also makes a meaningful Veterans Day gift for the veteran in your life.
