Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust #GFY Lancero Collection

Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust is known for its interesting projects that think outside of the box, as well as an elevated smoking experience. Steve Saka has created various projects that have made his brand the talk of the industry. His latest endeavor journeys into the world of ‘skinny’ cigars and is now shipping to Oak Glen Tobacconist. At the 2024 PCA trade show, he announced his limited Lancero project. Introducing the Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust #GFY Lancero Collection. This is a unique box of ten different blends, all in a 7×38 Lancero format. Originally, Steve planned to only craft 3,000 boxes; however, due to popular demand, that turned into a number just beyond 4,000. Unfortunately, this is a one-and-done drop; they aren’t returning.

According to Steve, he says, “One of the things I have learned over the years is that customers are always chasing the next great Lancero. So why not give them their ‘wet dream’, a selection of 10 totally unique Lancero ligas in just one box? I crafted over 63 different blends while perfecting the Muestra de Saka #NLMTHA, so I chose 9 of the best and 1 awful Candela one, another relentless cigar geek ask. I am not disclosing any details about the ligas at this point as I want consumers to experience them blindly without any particulars or inherent biases based on the tobaccos – the idea is for folks to compare and contrast them, I am hoping consumers will smoke them and then debate which is the favorite and least favorites. At some point down the road, likely sometime next year, I will share the info. I just want folks to have ample opportunity to smoke them before I spill the details.”
