Introducing the limited edition Stolen Throne Argos. Stolen Throne Cigars is perhaps best known for the Crook of the Crown and Three Kingdoms Habano; however, that doesn’t mean that’s where it stops. Lee Marsh, owner and blender, has created a full lineup of cigars with his other two: Yorktown Fleet and Call to Arms. However, it is not common for limited cigars to come from the company, so when it does happen, it is something special. Enter the Stolen Throne Argos! This is a special release available once a year and only open to fifteen shops in the USA. I am happy to say that Oak Glen Tobacconist is one of those shops and the last of this year’s alotment has arrived!
According to Lee, he says, “The Stolen Throne Argos is a project that we started to give back to the dog rescue community. A dollar from every cigar sold goes to the Cane Corso rescue.” The conversation started when he mentioned to me he had a Cane Coro. I laughed and told him I did as well. Then the Argos came up, and he offered the chance to feature the blend in our shop. Being a huge Stolen Throne fan it was a no-brainer.
The Stolen Throne Argos is released in one size: a 6×52 Toro. The blend uses a dark Habano Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan Binder and fillers. Unlike the core line, the Argos cigar is placed in fifteen-count bundles instead of twenty, making it a bit more accessible to purchase. It is released once a year and to only select accounts. Dark notes of coffee, leather, paprika, wood, more leather, and light sweetness make up this magnificent medium to full strength blend. It is available at Oak Glen Tobacconist now! Another winner from Lee Marsh and the team at Stolen Throne Cigars.
