Aganorsa Leaf recently released a cigar from their vault of blends known as the Arsenio. Premiered at the 2024 PCA Trade Show, Aganorsa Leaf Arsenio is an elevated blend that spotlights the talents of the late Arsenio Ramos. Taken from his notes, this special Corojo 99 blend was known as ‘his’ blend. This is the cigar that she used to smoke. Arsenio was known as the man behind Aganorsa, or in other words, making the company what it is today. Originally from Cuba, Arsenio worked with Eduardo Fernandez as his master blender. Taking the signature flavor of Aganorsa and creating the blends that we all love and smoke today.
“Arsenio was a giant of the Cuban Tobacco Industry,” says Fernández. “He was a self-taught man of humble means, a true craftsman. He was a great human being who was instrumental in creating the singular flavor that distinguishes the richness of Aganorsa’s leaf, taking us back to the traditions of a true Habano of old. This blend was his favorite and a tribute to his lifetime of work.”
Using a high priming of Corojo 99 for the wrapper, the cigar boasts two binders and fillers grown from Aganorsa’s farm in Nicaragua. Production has been limited to only 2,000 boxes for the Toro and Robusto and only 1,500 for the Corona. Much like the production of their Rare Leaf or Supreme Leaf, the Aganorsa Leaf Arsenio is a limited production, showcasing the best tobaccos they are known for, Corojo 99 and Criollo 98. This fantastic blend is now available at Oak Glen Tobacconist! Don’t miss this limited Edition from one of the premiere growers in the whole world!
