It has been an awesome journey of five years here at Oak Glen Tobacconist. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we have teamed up with one of your favorite manufacturers, Stolen Throne Cigars. Known for their initial Mexican San Andres Maduro Crook of the Crown, Lee Marsh of Stolen Throne has crafted a vast portfolio of amazing blends. Last year, we released a custom with Lee called the ‘Doctors Orders’ and it was met with overwhelming success. This year it was only natural we wanted to do as new project with the company. Introducing the OGT Cigars V Aniversario!

This new blend boasts a textured Habano Rosado wrapper over a binder and fillers from Nicaragua. It is released in a 6×52 box-pressed toro. Immediately after lighting up, this cigar comes to life. While I might be biased, this is one of my favorite blends Marsh has ever created. This medium strength, full-flavored, full-bodied blend offers a unique and complex experience with superb construction. The foot is partially closed, so when you light up, you can taste that Habano wrapper at the start. It begins with a deep black pepper spice, sandalwood, earth, and hints of nutmeg. That transitions into baking spices, leather, roasted cashews, a breadiness, and gingersnap like sweetness. The cigar uses a full blend of aged tobacco that really translates in through the thirds.

I cannot wait to share this cigar with our OGT Community. This is a massive milestone for us and all the members of our cigar society, supporters of the shop, friends, and family. As the fifth anniversary approaches, we are incredibly thankful for the community’s support and love for Oak Glen Tobacconist. Thank you everyone for your support through the years.
