Viaje Craft Series Roots and Viaje White Label Project Dark Matter & Blunderbuss

It is a big drop for Viaje Cigars this month. As they always create a limited cigar for their monthly feature, this month, they return to their ‘roots’ and have crafted an extra special cigar from Joya de Nicaragua, as well as two aged productions of the Viaje White Label Project. Instead of two blends, August has three: The Viaje Craft Series Roots 6×52, the Viaje White Label Project Dark Matter 6×56, and Viaje White Label Project Blunderbus 6×56.

The Viaje Craft Series started back in 2018 and primarily has been handled by the Aganorsa Factory for the last several years. However, at the initial launch, it was created by Joy De Nicaragua. It seems Viaje Cigars as returned to Joya to create a beautiful blend. According to Viaje Cigars, they say, “BACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN – After 15 years we are headed back to Joya de Nicaragua. Viaje got its start at this historic factory and we felt a new collaboration was long overdue.  Craft Series “Roots” features fillers from Nicaragua, Brazil and the USA, a binder from Nicaragua and a Habano Ecuadorian wrapper. This blend showcases the talents of Joya and we are so excited to share it with all of you.”

The Viaje White Label Project Dark Matter and Viaje White Label Project Blunderbuss are both aged for sometime, presumedly over a year. Limited to only 200 boxes, these are both a very limited production. Viaje Cigars says, “A MORE MATURE WLP – Over a year ago a couple of our most prized blends were rolled. Time kept ticking and these cigars were left to age. A packed slate prevented their release until an opening was found. That time is now.  Blunderbuss and Dark Matter are finally set for release. Two incredible blends, aged to perfection.”

All three releases are now available at Oak Glen Tobacconist for pre-order. Don’t miss these cigars, they seem to be crafted at an even smaller production than most.
