Espinosa La Bomba Warhead X

It’s Back! One Last Time! The Espinosa La Bomba Warhead X 6×55 Oval Press Toro! Espinosa produces a new rendition of the Espinosa La Bomba Warhead each year. Last year was the La Bomba Warhead IX, a dark Connecticut Broadleaf in the shape of a figurado. This year, Espinosa presents Warhead X; the celebration of ten years of being produced. It had to be a special one. As a point of reference, the Warhead cigar is a fuller-bodied cigar produced at the AJ Fernandez factory ‘San Lotano’ in Ocotal, Nicaragua. This year, it features tobaccos solely from Nicaragua. Due to the overwhelming success of the Knuckle Sandwich 56 Oval, the Warhead will share a similar shape, but this time a 6×55 Oval press.

In a press release, Owner Erik Espinosa said, “This year’s bomb is very special. We began teasing it at La Zona Palooza. My son worked tirelessly on the design and presentation for this release; the entire sales team has been chomping at the bit to get these to retailers.” Blender Hector Alfonso also stated, “It’s one of several new limited cigars we are releasing at the show, but I must admit that this one is special. It was our first limited release, and our fans just love this cigar. With the whole team pumped up for this release, I wanted to add a little wrinkle from the previous nine releases and decided on an oval shape toro.”

The Espinosa La Bomba Warhead X is a 6×55 Oval press toro, featuring a Nicaraguan Broadleaf wrapper. Underneath is a Nicaraguan Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan fillers. One of the most stunning aspects of the new release is the packaging. Aptly put together in a ‘bomb’ shaped box, the cigars are sold in ten-count sets. The flavor and body, like previous years, are rich and full. Anyone who has smoked Espinosa Warhead before knows it is an explosion of flavor. This new Warhead is not only special for its overall experience while smoking it, but it is also an anniversary cigar. And I am not going to lie, I think the box is pretty awesome. This cigar is a must try for any Espinosa Cigar fan or Broadleaf fan.
