Warped Cigars is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its brand El Oso. Translated from ‘The Bear’ the new cigar has taken on the name El Oso Papa. To commemorate the decade, they have crafted a limited edition; a blend different from the original, amped up. Rolled at the El Titan De Bronze factory in Miami, the original cigar is limited to a production of only 150 a day, to ensure master quality and attention to detail. The first blend was released in 2014 and uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and mixed filler.
How does it differ? Owner of Warped Cigars, Kyle Gellis says, “The original El Oso binder was Ecuadorian, but this size format required a beefier binder to balance the profile due to the size increase. The binder was changed to a Nicaraguan binder with a bit more power to keep the blend consistent strength-wise to what our consumer base would be used too from years past in the smaller size formats.” The New blend features an Ecuadoran Habano Oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers both from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
Warped El Oso 10th Anniversary is limited to only 1,500 boxes and has now arrived at retailers, including Oak Glen Tobacconist. This cigar is in extremely short supply. El Oso expresses the quality and expert craftsmanship both El Titan factory and Warped Cigars create when they work together. Experience the full flavor Warped El Oso Papa 10th Anniversary.
