Winners of Cigar of the year 2022 with the See No Evil Lonsdale, and now named Number 2 for 2023 with the Bloody Knuckle, Chaffiot Cigars are coming in hot with fantastic blends! Justin and his wife Crystal have done wonders with a diverse set of tobaccos from Cameroon, San Andres, Sumatra, and now with Brazilian Mata Fina. Originally Bloody Knuckle was released as a limited run through the OGT Cigar Society. It’s popularity called for it to return for purchase at Oak Glen Tobacconist. When the blend Freedom Fighter was first created, it was available in a 7×54 Churchill and a 7×40 Lancero. After working with Justin, we crafted an exclusive 6×54 Toro we named the Bloody Knuckle.
Chaffiot Freedom Fighter Bloody Knuckle delivers a deep flavor of leather, black tea, charred oak, a touch of spice, and a sweet finish. The smoke texture, unlike so many others, has a powdery, smooth texture that envelops the palate. One of the distinct qualities of this cigar is the full bodied coating of the palate. This is set against a backdrop of smoothness that balances well. Sometimes the temptation is to think a cigar like this is not only fuller bodied but full in strength. However, when you enjoy this cigar it isn’t overbearing in anyway, instead it is a slow approach and finishes clean.
This cigar will be available hopefully soon, however if you want to get your hands on this, there are several sampler packs left. Keep a weather eye out for Chaffiot Cigars, they have something extra special to offer the cigar community. A portion of the proceeds are donated by the Chaffiots to several organizations that fight human trafficking. It is an awesome thing to find great people behind an awesome company! Oak Glen Tobacconist is hosting a Chaffiot Cigar Event on January 6th, at 3pm. Join us for great cigars and meet the Chaffiots!
Also, something extra special is coming to the OGT Cigar Society this month! Don’t miss the opportunity to sign up when spots are available!
