The newest blend from Stolen Throne is here at Oak Glen Tobacconist! Crafted by owner and blender of Stolen Throne Cigars Lee Marsh, this cigar is the newest addition to the core line. The blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra Maduro wrapper over a binder and fillers from Nicaragua, including a special ligero filler from the Condega region. The Stolen Throne Yorktown Fleet is released in two sizes: a 6×50 box pressed Belicoso and a 5×50 Robusto, much like the other core lines.
The name Stolen Throne Yorktown Fleet is in reference to the company’s new headquarters in Yorktown, Va. Historically speaking, on October 19, 1781, Gen. Charles Cornwallis of the British forces surrendered at Yorktown to the leader of the Continental Army, George Washington. By way of paying homage, Marsh named his Sumatra blend.
This is a first from Stolen Throne, having a box pressed Belicoso. As Lee says, “Each blend will always have a 5×50 round Robusto, but we wanted to change up the second size.” True to Stolen Throne fashion, the package is a wrapped paper bundle mounted with the signature wax seal. This dark Sumatra is an amazing addition to the brand, and perhaps the most complex cigar they have released. Coming in at the medium to medium plus strength level, Yorktown Fleet is a flavor bomb.
