Viaje Exclusivo Leaded and Unleaded

The long-standing, ever popular tradition from Viaje cigars is the feature for this month’s release. The Viaje Exlusivo and the Viaje Exclusivo Leaded are somewhat known as the personal blend of company owner Andre Farkas. While this blend has been released several times, it’s taken on many forms. Featuring an all Nicaraguan blend, the Exlusivo is released in two different wrappers, the Viaje Exclusivo Natural and the Viaje Exclusivo Leaded or Maduro.

According to Viaje Cigar Co., they stated the following about this special duo: “AN EXCLUSIVE CIGAR – Exclusivos are set to return this month in 2 sizes. This release will see the Toro and Double Edged Sword in both standard and Leaded versions. Both are Nicaraguan Puros rolled in Honduras at the Raices Cubanas factory. This limited production received an extra 6 months of age in box prior to release. As a reminder, Leaded incorporates the addition of medio tiempo, resulting in a stronger, fuller flavor.”

The toro in both the Natural and Maduro is a 6×50, and the Double Edged Sword is a beautiful 5.75×52. As usual, the production quantities for this Viaje Drop are very limited. The wrapper on both these cigars is very textured and toothy. The extra six months of age have really enriched the cigar.
