One of the most anticipated releases from Oveja Negra is nearly here at Oak Glen Tobacconist. Originally I thought this was going to be a usual limited production product turned out to be far more limited than I believed. Introducing the first of its kind, Black Works Studio Poison Dart. I say first because, unlike many other Black Label Trading and Black Works blends, the Poison Dart cigar uses a dark Brazilian Mata Fina Wrapper. Let me just state, the art on this cigar is insanely cool. Only 500 boxes of Poison Dart have been produced, making this an extremely allocated project from James Brown.
“Poison Dart is the latest addition to the BLKWKS limited edition portfolio. This cigar is bold yet refined. Pepper and chili spice are layered with a mix of citrus, cedar, and herbal tea notes. The spicy mix of filler tobacco pairs perfectly with the rich, complex profile of the Brazilian Matafina wrapper. It’s something unique and different for the BLKWKS lineup,” says James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co./Black Works Studio and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
Released in two sizes, a 4.5×50 Robusto and 5.5×46 Corona Gorda, The BLKWKS Poison Dart is placed in 20 count boxes. Wrapped in a dark Mata Fina Wrapper, over Ecuadorian Habano Binder, and fillers from Nicaragua, this cigar is found in the medium Plus strength profile. Being a PCA exclusive made this cigar even more allocated than others. The Poison Dart cigar will be available for PRE ORDER tomorrow, Friday July 14th.
