Cigar Clowns King of Clowns Torpedo 6×52

Have you heard of the Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime? What about the King of Clowns? As in the newest release from the Cigar Clowns for summer 2023. That’s right, the new Cigar Clowns King of Clowns is coming to Oak Glen Tobacconist very soon. This is the FIRST ever Cigar Clown stick to be packaged in a box, this is the first-ever Clown Cigar with a golden, die-cut label, and as usual, this cigar will be available soon, but disappear after that. Perhaps it might resurface, but not for another year or more.

So What is it? Cigar Clowns King of Clowns is a rustic-looking San Andres Maduro-wrapped cigar, rolled in the Dominican Republic. But don’t let the name DR fool you. This cigar packs a punch both in flavor and strength. Measuring at a 6×52 Torpedo and placed in 10 count boxes, the new Cigar Clowns is a medium strength, full flavored, medium plus bodied smoke. By far, my favorite release from them for 2023.

Let’s talk Flavor notes: At the cold draw, there is 100% garden soil. Like I have never experienced anything so straight forward on a cold draw; gritty, earthy, dusty. On light up, there is white pepper, in the nose and light on the tongue with a mix of warm tones. As the cigar continues, I detect some wood, earth, and definite sweetness, but not like cocoa or dark chocolate. In fact, I can’t really say what type of sweetness, I will need to smoke more. (At least I hope to). Salted caramel fades in and out with faint hints of herbs and maybe chestnut, or another toasted nut. As I said, this is my top pick for the Clowns this year! From light up to finish, I was very impressed!
