Viaje Skull and Bones Red Trio

Viaje has this special quality of rich flavor in their blends. Whether it’s a long-aged release like Honey and Handgrenades, the special New Beginnings drop, or the most current, there is always something very special about them. For April 2023, there is no exception. The return of Skull and Bones is here, but slightly different. Viaje brings back the widely popular Skull and Bones Red, a three vitola line, all on the short, stubby side.

Available in the ‘Little Boy’ 4.25×52, the ‘Fat Man’ 4.25×56, and the ‘Big Ivan’ 5×60, the Viaje Skull and Bones Red is known of power and strength with a balance of mouth watering flavor. The wrapper, binder, and filler are undisclosed, a method common among the Viaje releases. However, I think it adds a little mystique to the drop. It appears to be on the darker side, edging to Maduro. If I were to make an educated guess, I’d say it looks like a Habano, perhaps an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

Like most Viaje drops, this is a small batch release in very limited form. If you have had the opportunity to get your hands on the previous drops of the Red, you know what it brings to the table.
