After a decent absence, the Black Works Studio S&R Cigar returns to the market! Each quarter Black Label Trading and Black Works Studio releases a limited run of cigars highlighting the special blending style and talents of James Brown. Rolled in the Oveja Negra Factory in Esteli, Black Works Studio releases colorful, not to mention flavorful, short runs combining unique tobaccos in a crescendo of complexity. The first quarter of 2023 is no exception. Introducing the return of a long-awaited favorite, the BLK WRKS S&R Cigar. What do the initials stand for? Serpent and Rainbow. It has been some time since we have seen the appearance of the Serpent and Rainbow, and a much-anticipated release it is!
James Brown had the following press release on his newest limited cigar. “Very excited for the return of S&R. This year’s release features a beautiful dark Sumatran wrapper mixed with Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade. The S&R is a bold, medium strength, full flavor blend. The profile combines herbal citrus notes with cocoa and a complex mix of chili & white pepper spice.”
S&R is a dynamic barber pole using a Sumatra and Connecticut wrapper over an Ecuadorian Binder, and fillers from the Dominican and Nicaragua. Released in three vitolas, a 5×50 Robusto, 6×46 Corona large, and a special 6.75×42 Lancero Culebra (Yes, three Lanceros twisting within themselves, almost snake-like.) This cigar is available now and is a great way to finish out March. Black Works Studio is adding several cigars to their lineup in 2023, and they offer an elevated smoking experience above many others. Boasting a beautiful sight of a Sumatra and Connecticut twist, the S&R is not one to be missed! Pick up yours while this limited drop lasts!
