Drops Thursday, March 2nd at 9pm CA time/12am est.
Who wants coffee and donuts, and maybe a cigar? The ever popular CREAM Series, Vanilla and Chocolate, has expanded. Introducing the newest March LCA drop, the CREAM donut. This version has a new blender, however, Mr. Hugo Endemaño. This cigar boasts a lot of things, not the least of them being a dark Broadleaf wrapper from Connecticut. In our current time of Broadleaf scarcity and how expensive the tobacco generally is, it’s awesome to see limited sticks like this released with that as the wrapper. Each month LCA (Limited Cigar Association) brings the heat in complexity and flavor, and the Cream donut appears to be no exception. the LCA was quoted to say the following:
“An extension to the extremely popular CREAM line, CREAM Donut shows just how decadent tobacco can get. This is a 6×50 toro blended by Hugo Endemaño at Fábrica de Tabacos Raíces Cubanas. The thick, textured Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper envelops a Nicaraguan binder and a carefully selected blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Experience for yourself the rich, chocolatey, creamy, layered-with-deep-fruit-tones goodness that CREAM Donut has to offer.”
The Nicaraguan tobacco supports the power of the Connecticut wrapper, while the Honduran filler amplifies the sweetness; a great combination that is steered by the profile of the broadleaf. The label displays a cream donut with a pink frosting glaze. Are these the flavors you will experience with this cigar? That is up to you to decide, I will say, however, this 6×50 toro is a great line to the already tried and true CREAM series previously released by Privada. Don’t miss the LCA Cream Donut, dropping Thursday, March 2nd at 9pm CA time/12am est.
