It is here! The much anticipated annual release of the LCA Reserva Vintage! Each year, Privada Cigar Club and Christian Eiroa craft one of the finest limited cigars to market, a Honduran Corojo puro that simply delivers on flavor, construction, and elegance. This year, the LCA Reserva Vintage 2022 brings some new aspects of sweetness and rich notes to the blend. According to Brian Desind and Clark Thorton, the LCA Reserva Vintage 2022 is even better than last year. Much like a fine wine, even though they create the blend with the same tobaccos, the variants in climate and soil sometimes bring subtle and drastic changes to the blend. Brian was quoted to say the following:
“This is the second annual release of the LCA Reserva series. Each year, the cigar is made entirely of a single year’s crop of Cuban-seed corojo grown on Christian Eiroa’s farms in Honduras. The vintage year refers to the year the cigar was rolled, while the tobacco is from the crop three years earlier i.e. the crop for Vintage 2022 is from the 2019 season. The LCA Reserva series allows you to taste how different years’ tobacco crops change the smoking experience. Despite having the exact same blend, Vintage 2022 is certainly a different experience from Vintage 2021.”
I am most excited to try this cigar after the huge success of last year’s vintage. Using only the finest Corojo tobaccos from the Eiroa farm in Honduras, the Reserva Vintage 2022 is a perfect example of a full-flavored cigar while demonstrating the smooth complexities of a medium-strength cigar. Pair it with a whiskey, coffee, or even rum to bring out the sweeter notes, but this cigar has such a diverse and satisfying palate it is not a wonder last year’s release was so popular. Order the LCA Reserva Vintage 2022 while they last!
