Anyone familiar with Black Works Studio cigars is probably familiar with the Killer Bee Maduro and Green Hornet. The duo is made in specific vitolas of Petite Corona and Corona, and offers a deep flavor complexity. Earlier this year, announced at the 2022 PCA trade show was the addition of Killer Bee Connecticut. But that is not the only blend added to the line! Also announced and shipping is the Killer Bee Shaolin Belicoso. Utilizing three different leaves on the wrapper, the Killer Bee Shaolin is a must-try for anyone who enjoys the art of Black Works Studio and the flavor profiles of the Killer Bee cigars encase. The Killer Bee Shaolin was only offered to attendees of the trade show and is unattainable outside of the show. James Brown of Black Label Trading and Black Works Studios released the following statement:
“The Shaolin is a slightly tweaked version of the Killer Bee blend wrapped in a mix of Mexican San Andres, Connecticut, and Candela. The result is a bold but elegant cigar that has layers of complexity. Also being released is the new vitola for Rorschach. Rorschach has become one of our most popular cigars and fans of this cigar will enjoy it in a short robust.”
The Belicoso size is a 5.5 x 46 and is held together with a Habano binder of an assortment of Nicaraguan fillers. Much like the Neon Tiger, the Tiger Lilly, and the Khan barber poles from Black Works Studios, the Shaolin is a tri-colored cigar with a grassy, creamy cap at the start and a blend of chocolatey San Andres Maduro and sweet Connecticut along the length of the stick. This highly limited stick is available for pre-order now. Unfortunately, this run is extremely limited, so hopefully, getting your hands on this cigar will not present too much trouble.
