Black Works Studio Killer Bee Shaolin

Black Works Studio is the deep dive canvas into craft and art for James Brown. Most of the names for James’ blends are rooted in preditors as a homage to the time he and his wife Angela spent time in Africa. Cigars like the Hyena, Lizard King, Killer Bee, and so on paint evocative images of their time spent there. James constantly adds to that imagery, and another brilliant cigar is about to drop in Spetember! Adding to the cult following of the Killer Bee Petite Corona and the candela-capped Green Hornet is the new PCA 2022 exclusive Killer Bee Shaolin. Unlike the original Bee and Hornet, the Shaolin is a Belicoso, sporting a torpedo end that finishes a 5.5×46 corona size. The Shaolin is a small batch release that was offered to those retailers who placed an order at the PCA 2022 Tradeshow. James released the following as a press release.

“The Shaolin is a slightly tweaked version of the Killer Bee blend wrapped in a mix of Mexican San Andres, Connecticut, and Candela. The result is a bold but elegant cigar that has layers of complexity. Also being released is the new vitola for Rorschach. Rorschach has become one of our most popular cigars, and fans of this cigar will enjoy it in a short Robusto,” says James Brown, creator of BLTC/BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

We expect to see the Shaolin in the next few weeks; however, like most good things in the industry, the Killer Bee Shaolin is a very limited cigar. With only 950 boxes produced, the Shaolin is something to keep your eyes out for. If you are a fan of the Killer Bee or Green Hornet, this one might be up your alley too.
